Republicans are once again pushing for a series of voter suppression bills–all variations of their infamous “SAVE Act” which would create unnecessary obstacles for millions of eligible Americans trying to register to vote. 

Because these bills would require showing this proof in person, they would eliminate online and mail-in voter registration. These bills won't improve election security–they would just make it significantly harder for everyday Americans to vote.

The killing of Renee Good on January 7 and Alex Pretti on January 24 are devastating examples of what happens when federal immigration enforcement operates without meaningful restrictions.  ICE is terrorizing our communities, violating our constitutional rights, and killing innocent people -- and the House just voted to give them more money.
