For every $100 spent at a local business, roughly $68 stays in the local economy, compared to only about $43 when shopping at a national chain. This "multiplier effect" funds our parks, roads, and local services.
- The "Local First" Rule: Before clicking "order" online, check if a shop in downtown Chandler or Gilbert carries what you need.
- Eat Local: Swap one franchise meal a week for a visit to a locally-owned cafe or restaurant.
- Spread the Word: A positive review or a shout-out on social media for your favorite East Valley gem costs nothing but helps them immensely.
