Republicans have kept the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) shut down for a record-breaking 44+ days, refusing to negotiate major reforms to stop the violence ICE and Border Patrol are perpetrating in our communities. Trump has escalated the fight by deploying ICE agents to airports, making the situation far worse, far more dangerous, and far more politically toxic for Republicans.
The Senate unanimously passed a bill to fund all of DHS except for ICE and Border Patrol. House Republicans need to stop playing political games and pass that bill.

The Big Ugly Bill funneled enough money into ICE and Border Patrol coffers to fund their terror for years to come. We have already seen how dangerous this is in communities across the country. Now the administration is trying to use this money to do a massive expansion in detention facilities across the country. They have been buying up properties, and sometimes actually converting warehouses into camps that will hold human beings, often in dangerous, and horrifying conditions.
